Nice reclaim lead of French top flight

Nice returned to the top of Ligue 1 on Sunday night following a 2-2 draw at Paris Saint-Germain.

But Lucien Favre’s men might feel they should have taken all three points away from the capital.

They went in at the pause leading 2-0. A sumptuous free-kick from Wylan Cyprien gave them the lead on 32 minutes and Alassane Plea doubled the advantage on the stroke of half-time.

But a second half brace Edinson Cavani evened up matters to the relief of the Parc des Princes faithful. PSG remain third, three points behind Monaco - 4-0 winners at Bordeaux on Saturday - and four points off the pacesetters.
