Tourists flock to Israeli counterrorism boot camp

A controversial counterterrorism boot camp in the West Bank is attracting thousands of tourists from all over the world. Former commandos from the Israeli army reserve are showing them how to take down an attacker and to shoot with a rifle.

The military training takes place in the Gush Etzion settlement, located in the Palestinian territories… which has been illegally occupied by Israel for 50 years, under international law. An NGO is accusing the private company of profiting out of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Sabrina Myre reports from this Israeli-style security training in the West Bank.
