Israeli blockade impacts local tourism in Gaza

The Israeli blockade of most of Gaza that has been in place since 2007 is often criticised for making life very difficult for Palestinians living there. Among the industries that have been most affected by the blockade is tourism, which used to be a small but important money-earner in a region that should be more famous for its ancient history than its politics.
