West ups pressure on Iran

Iranian parliament speaker Ali Larijani held talks with Turkish leaders on Thursday on Tehran's nuclear programme amid an intensification of efforts by the US to increase pressure on Iran to end the programme. The European Union is also expected to announce further sanctons, while Japan said it was reducing its imports of Iranian oil.
