Will Paris host 2024 Summer Olympics?

Paris is pushing hard to host the 2024 Summer Olympics, competing against just one other city, Los Angeles. Other cities dropped out, because of a lack of interest, or in the face of protests.

In Paris, the project has met with little resistance, though also with little enthusiasm.

This summer, ahead of the Olympic Committee’s decision in September, Paris is hoping to change that.
