Can urban farming make Paris greener?

In this week's Spotlight on France, Fabien Jannic-Cherbonnel takes a look at a new trend taking over the French capital: urban farming. The Paris Mayor’s office voted on a new plan aimed at encouraging farming activities in the city in January, just as green initiatives are popping up around the city.

 

Wetake a look at two of them: La ferme de La Recyclerie, an urban farm located next to a trendy bar and Agricool, where a team is growing strawberries in shipping containers.
