Le Monde leads with the story on the disillusionment of the members of Syriza party in Greece. The report states that these members have strongly criticised Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras for accepting conditions imposed by creditors to grant financial aid to

Greece.

It adds that, after seven months in power, the left is preparing for a difficult campaign in elections that are expected to take place on 20 September.

Le Monde’s other story on the front page is related to the consequences of the 12 August Tianjin blast, which not only killed people and destroyed property but also broke a dream.

The report states that the new Binhai District was meant to be a symbol of China's economic expansion.

The harbour city had installations of all kinds, towers housing multinational corporations, research and development parks, shopping centres and residential areas.

Members of the middle class thought they had found a paradise 200 kilometres from Beijing, the report adds.

Libération leads with the story on the 20 bodies of migrants found in an abandoned truck in Austria

Headlined "Death in the heart of Europe", the report states that the bodies were found in a refrigerated truck only a few dozen kilometres away from the Hofburg Palace where German Chancellor Angela Merkel was attending a mini-summit to discuss the issue of the influx of migrants from the Balkan countries to Europe.

The report cites Austrian media on how these bodies were discovered.

It adds that this tragedy is the most serious that has occurred in Europe since the discovery of 58 Chinese migrants bodies in a container lorry in Dover in June 2000.

The report quotes Merkel as saying that this terrible news was a warning for Europe which has been unable to pursue a common asylum policy in the face of the greatest humanitarian challenge the continent has known since the World War II.

Libération's editorial is on the same subject titled "Reality".

It says that apathy of the European political class has now reached the limits of endurance adding that only Merkel has saved its honour.
