Schumacher's condition improves, but not out of danger says doctor
Formula One race-car legend Michael Schumacher's condition showed a slight improvement Tuesday after undergoing a second operation although remaining in a coma in a French hospital, according to his doctors.

"We are surprised by the improvement,” said one of Schumacher’s doctors during a press conference, adding that his medical team gained some time.
However, he remains in critical condition after the German racing legend sustained major head injuries after slamming his head on a rock while skiing off-piste in the French Alps on Sunday.
Doctors immediately operated on Schumacher and put him in an induced medical coma to help alleviate pressure in his skull.
Police are investigating the circumstances of his fall near the luxury Méribel resort, but have said that he was wearing a helmet and that the fall did not involve anyone else.
