The human cost of worship

Issued on:

In France, evangelical protestantism is growing more and more popular. Statistics show that a new evangelical church opens every ten days. But those opening these churches often don’t have enough money to build or buy proper places of worship. As a result, congregations often gather in places that are patently unsafe. Recently, two people died when the floor of one of these ad-hoc places of worship collapsed.
