British boy missing in Channel off French coast
French rescue workers were searching for a 13-year-old British boy off the Channel town of Boulogne-sur-Mer on Tuesday morning after he was swept away by strong currents while swimming near a lighthouse.

The boy, whose identity and home address have not been made public, was swimming with two other children on Monday afternoon when they were taken by surprise by the currents.
The two other children managed to swim to safety and raise the alarm at about 6.30pm.
After searching for three hours on Monday, using a helicopter, divers, two rubber dinghies and a speedboat, rescue workers resumed the search on Tuesday.
The parents of the missing boy and the two others were treated in hospital for shock.
