Missing French girl found alive in car boot in Germany
A 15-year-old French girl whose disappearance sparked a nationwide hunt has been found alive in the boot of a car in Germany. Chloé Rodriguez’s parents went to Strasbourg, near the German border, late Friday night under police escort to pick her up and take her to their home village, Barjac in south-east France.

The missing girl was discovered in a car boot by German police near Offenburg, close to the French border, during a routine inspection.
The 32-year-old driver, who was arrested was from the same region as the girl, and has a string of convictions, including one for sexual assault.
He is also wanted for robbery in Germany.
Rodriguez was hospitalised but initial indications were that she had not been harmed physically.
She had been missing since 9 November after she left the home of a friend in a nearby village on a scooter.
Her scooter was found in front of the family home with only her crash helmet and mobile phone missing.
