French, Serbian police arrest suspected arms traffickers
Seven people have been taken into custody in the Paris area, allegedly part of an arms smuggling. Serbian police have arrested another ten people. Police intercepted a delivery truck in the Paris region Thursday evening and discovered a large quantity of weapons, a judicial source told the AFP news agency Saturday.

Ten more people were arrested in a simultaneous operation in Serbia, a joint sting by French and Serbian police that came after a months-long investigation.
The seven people arrested in Paris are mostly Serbs, and were still in police custody Saturday morning. They are accused of criminal conspiracy, and of heading an arms trafficking ring.
