In Thailand, an advertising campaign is warning tourists not to buy souvenirs bearing the image of Buddha. One billboard drawing attention to the matter towers above the main expressway from Bangkok airport into the city. A buddhist group says the memorabilia is disrespecting Buddah's memory and they hope tourists will do better than to buy what they say are 'vulgar' gifts.
