Rising unemployment in South Africa

New statistics suggest that South Africa only managed to create 7 thousand formal jobs in the second quarter of this year. This compares to 38-thousand jobs created in the first quarter - and it raises serious concern about growing unemployment. Some 25 per cent of South Africans are now out of work. We spoke to the head of a regional trade body about how officials are dealing with the situation.
