French startup, inspired by trees, finds energy in city wind gusts

Where do ideas come from? For Jérôme Michaud-Larivière it came out of the air. Noticing the rustle of tree leaves, he wondered if they could become a source of renewable energy in cities. After years of tinkering and engineering, the prototype of the Wind Tree was born.
