Nigerian-German singer songwriter Ayo rose to fame in 2006 with the hit Down on my knees from her debut album Joyful. For her recently-released fourth album Ticket to the world she returns to her roots in rap to express incomprehension and frustration over issues such as immigration and social rights. Currently on an extensive tour of France we meet her at the Blues sur Seine festival in Mantes near Paris where she talks about why the world is on fire and why she just has to live in the moment.
