Four-hundred year anniversary of Versailles gardener Le Nôtre

André Le Nôtre, the famous French landscape gardener who designed the grounds for Louis XIV’s Château de Versailles in the 17th Century, would have been 400 this year. The palace and his gardens are still around and the town of Versailles has been building up to the anniversary.
