Plus-size model Kim Geeyang challenges South Korea's beauty norm

By Jason Strother

Based on population size, South Koreans undergo more plastic surgery than in any other country. That’s according to the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

In addition to having big eyes and a high nose, a beautiful woman is expected to be very thin. But model Kim Geeyang doesn’t fit that image. She’s Korea’s first plus-size model and she's helping other women who don’t have the traditional shape for modelling to stop being camera shy.

Correspondent Jason Strother has her story from Seoul.
