French Metis Festival gives South African jazz singer Thandiswa Mazwai a platform, Pt. 1

As South Africans gear up to celebrate centenary celebrations in honour of the late Nelson Mandela, the French Metis Festival has been giving a platform to South African artists, like renowned jazz singer Thandiswa Mazwai. The 42-year-old singing sensation, renowned for her funky hair partly shaved on both sides and braids, sat down to talk to our correspondent Esther Thwadi-Yimbu about her latest album called Belede.
