CULTURE IN FRANCE Highlights of Photojournalism Festival in Perpignan

By Rosslyn Hyams

The Visa pour l'Image annual festival of photo-journalism exhibits the photos taken before and after those featured on the front pages from around the world, illustrating headline news. In Arts in France, RFI's Rosslyn Hyams meets some of the photo-journalists who take the pictures and finds out what takes them to the frontline amid earthquakes, civil war, and fatal epidemics. Among this year's prize winners is Daniel Berehulak who shares his experience in documenting the ebola epidemic in Liberia.
