Malaria on rise in parts of West Africa

Today is World Anti-Malaria Day. The World Heath Organisation says the death-rate from malaria, in the worst-hit countries in Asia and Latin America, continued to decrease in 2011. However, in many West African countries it is on the rise. One British woman Jo Yirrell, whose 20 year-old son died from malaria in Ghana in 2005, is now the special ambassador for the NGO Malaria No More-UK.
